As Quality Custom Home builders we understand that not only do you want a home that has been individually designed and built just for you, but you also want excellent customer service and peace of mind every step of the way from start to finish.
Step 1: Consultation
At this first consultation meeting we want you to share with us the ideas and wishes you have for your new family home.
Bring along any pictures & magazine cut outs you have collected, as well as any sketches or plans you may have. Whether you want to use a custom design drawn up by our team, already have a design created by your own architect, or you may wish to modify one of our designs, or use one straight from our selection, the choice is all yours.
From our initial meeting, through our personal approach you will start to feel more at ease and excited as you begin to see your dream home coming to life.
Step 2: Concept Design
This is one of the steps clients find the most exciting because they can really start to visualise what their new family home will look like.
As part of our service to you we will present you with a floor plan and front elevation sketch as well as a preliminary estimate to ensure that the design is within your budget as discussed in the initial meeting.
This is an obligation free design and estimate.
From our initial meeting, through our personal approach you will start to feel more at ease and excited as you begin to see your dream home coming to life.
Step 3: Working Drawings & Documentation
After an initial deposit for the preliminary stages of your new home we will start to prepare all documentation needed prior to starting on site.
At this stage we will organise a site survey and soil testing. This step is focused on the final design of your new home and we will go back to the drawing board as many times as it takes to ensure you are completely satisfied. Once you have signed off on the concept final design we will require a further deposit for the next stage to enable us to prepare working drawings and organise structural engineers and any other reports or documentation required to obtain a final approval for the construction of your new home.
We will also discuss and finalise your wish list and inclusions to be able to provide you with a fixed price. Once you’re happy with everything, you’ll be asked to sign the documentation and pay 10% of the contract price.
Step 4: Colour and Finishes Selection
Once we have signed the building contract you will then make an appointment to meet with our specialist team of consultants to finalise your selections of Colours and Finishes.
At this stage we can also discuss options to make your new home more sustainable, more energy efficient.
Step 5: Construction
Once all appropriate paperwork, certificates and approvals have been stamped and received we will then commence construction of your new custom Greendale Home.
Throughout the project we will continue to communicate with you to ensure you are kept informed of the progress. It’s important to note that by this stage of the project, changes can only be made by signing off on a written variation.
Step 6: Handover
This is the part you’ve been waiting for and the part that excites us the most. Your new home is now complete and ready for you to move in and enjoy!
